No way. Manny wins this. I love me some manny. Besides, you have to push the next fight. A loss makes it a non issue

I was sarcastic

I would not be surprised, however, if Pacquiao struggled

Here's what so funny about all you UFC fvg bois.

Every boxing match that comes on sux. blah blah blah.

BUT

EVERY UFC fight that comes on, is a great fightcard. There are no bad UFC matchups?

Look I get it, you like UFC better than boxing. That's fine. No one cares. But stop trying to make yourself believe that boxing is dying. Again, look at the money the sport makes. If the money is there, the sport is fine.

To support your argument, went to the theaters to watch the fights, it got so full they opened up a SECOND theater to allow everyone to fit, and this was during the middle of the Vargas/Forbes bout...

But but but a bar by my house had 75 people show up for the last big UFC fight. So UFC is about to dethrone boxing and boxing is dead.

Dat dere UFC reality show is about to get cancelled due to sh*tty ratings;

The Ultimate Fighter: Live's debut season on FX hasn't exactly gone according to plan with ratings slumping to an all-time low over the course of eight episodes so far, but despite some observers suggesting that it's new Friday night timeslot is to blame, the network has stated that they'll continue with it for the remainder of the year.

"We're going to stick with Friday nights for the fall season, and we do have a strong belief that Friday nights will in fact become quite successful for The Ultimate Fighter," FX's Vice President Chuck Saftler tells MMAjunkie in a new interview.

However, Saftler admits that they will continue to monitor the ratings and haven't ruled out the possibility of changing the day it's aired in the future.

"We'll also be very self-honest about the results that we see, and we will do what we do with all problems, which is constantly evaluate the results. If we don't see these results get better, then we're going to look at what other options are out there. But right now, we still have a strong belief that Friday night is a great night to watch this program and to experience the UFC much in the same way that Saturday night has grown into a fantastic night for the UFC, as well."

This thread is to discuss boxing, not UFC. We have a thread for that. Talk boxing topics all you want.

here we go again, i tried to drop it lol, clearly the ratings have dropped for a reason, 1st they switched from spike to fuel, i hadnt even heard of fuel before they switched, so im sure they lost some viewers that way. And Friday nights is killing them, i used to watch the UF live everytime, but now i dont, even a die hard like me will still go out on friday nights and then usually watch it on sat morning or late friday night. They gotta switch or else the show will def fail.

I also used to watch "The Contender" with fredy Manfrado and Gomez ... what happen to that show bud ? lol

im over this topic, lets just all agree to disagree

Look at my post below his and yours. That's why I said what I said.
so ....anyways..

Floyd blocks his face with his shoulder and his other hand while his left hand blocks his stomach and left side.
It's really hard to get in there without speed and power. I think if Pac fights like he did 5 years ago, which he probably would given that he hates Floyd, he could beat him. Cotto did alot better than I ever thought that he would. That clinch was trouble for Floyd. Floyd didn't look spectacular. He looked almost OVERRATED.

Here's the thing though, as different styles counter different opponents;

PBF beat Marquez
Marquez barely lost (and some say even beat )Pac two times. Pac def struggled against Marquez

Pac whups on Cotto
PBF struggles against Cotto but edges out a win

If Pac and PBF ever meet, who knows which type of fighter shows up.
Both are avoiding each other for sparring matches and bigger pay.
Wouldn't you?

This fight won't happen until they're old as s**t , even if Maywither

I don't know how u think he looked overrated, he was facing a highly talented and champion boxer in cotto. And Hes still 43 - 0 ... What did u expect a "Flawless Victory" ? LOL . I was very impressed by Cotto, and even more by mayweather for the fact he went up to 154, took cotto's best punches, almost dropped cotto in the 12th, and still dominated on the judges score card. Hardly "edging" out a win, closest judges score card for cotto was 117 - 111

Since when is a "unanimous decision" with lopsided scorecards "edging out a win" :-/

This... good fight. Mayweahter is so damn good and under appreciated because of how he acts. His defense, countering skills and accuracy are second to none.

Also, shout out to Silky for the XME plug. Thanks man.

I see comments like that all the time? Weak sauce man.

We need him for the soccer thread lol

He should be brought back for the simple fact of dropping the XME forum nugget. That is sick. Dude saved me $55. Also, the UFC fans should not come on these nights and start to hate. There is NOTHING like a big time fight night. Nothing.

Haha!

Been using that for a couple of years now. It's high quality for the most part(every now and then i've experienced a hiccup but reliable 99% of the time). You can catch most major sporting events/PPVs there.

No doubt, I used it for the first time yesterday, worked perfect and great quality, will likely use from now on

I don't see a featherfisted Bradley at 140 moving up to 147 and KO'ing Pac.

granted I was fades mgee but I did see Floyd get his nose bloodied , lip , cheekbone etc jobbed up more than I've ever seen him. Those ,''no-no'' nods after he gets hit are always ,''Yes , it did hurt.''
take the gloves off, make them grow handlebar mustaches....boxing will be cool again
