I really don't think lebron would come to the Lakers. Possibly Anthony.

Yeah I can't imagine LeBron leaving somewhere where he is comfortable for another team just like tha.... oh wait.
Jon Hamm ripping Dwight a new one at the espy's. First joke was something like Dwight finally found a way to help the Lakers win (basically leaving the team). Then he said they were gonna show a clip of his highlights as a Laker, then turned around to the screen and the music cued. Then he instantly turned back around and the music cut out, showing nothing at all. lol

4ML...I don't know if it's just sour grapes on the part of the Lakers because most of this has come out after he's left, but there have been some reports of Dwight intentionally blowing up plays (especially pick & rolls) because he wanted post touches. There were also reports during the year (which I put more stock into) of teammates being really upset with Dwight for not playing hard.

The guy who was most outwardly pissed off at Dwight during the year (and has been just killing him afterward) is Nash. IMO, if you can't get along with Steve Nash as a teammate, there's a problem with you, because what Nash enjoys doing most is making other people look good. Some pretty damning stuff in here, and this if from February.

http://www.ocregister.com/articles/howard-495416-nash-lakers.html

Those words from Nash are definitely damning stuff...but I feel the article does have some bias and is very speculative. "...he has been trying a little harder in recent weeks – aside from sitting out because of fears over shoulder pain." I'm not a doctor, but from what I remember reading at the time - he did have an injury and he shouldn't have been playing on that shoulder. Maybe a guard can play through that, but playing at Center is a different animal with that injury.

But, you're right - Nash was pretty upset and he did feel Dwight was the reason why pnr hasn't been effective. I hope I wasn't coming off as someone who thinks Dwight did everything right. He's a top 5 player in the league. He needed to adapt to the new system when he forced the trade and wanted to move to a new team. He needed to be humble and learn how to make the process seamless for the coaches and the players. But, IMO - D'Antoni didn't do that either...and he was the coach and that is his main job. I was only saying that Dwight is gettin' too much of the blame...and that article is an example of that.

In the end, the biggest issue I see with Dwight is the lack of love and passion for the game needed to dominate in NBA year in and year out. That's something no one can help him with. If he doesn't improve his attitude towards the game, he will not win a title as THE GUY and he may still be a great player - but he won't come close to being the player he could have been.

IMO, if Lakers really want Anthony - they'll get him. Knicks are unlikely to finish in top 3 in the East. I feel Miami, Indiana, and Chicago (if Derrick Rose muscles regain memory by October) are clearly better and Knicks don't have any quality pieces or cap room to improve that team. If the Space Cowboys in Brooklyn stay healthy enough...Knicks may have to go on the road in round 1. IMO, 'Melo will be lookin' to get off the roster in April of 2014.

LA, its not about the Kings my friend. A lot of people that aren't Laker fans, regardless of what team they like, don't like the Lakers. I imagine you would find more Laker haters on a 49ers website because of the NorCal/SoCal thing. No need for you to stoop to a level below you and clown the lowly Kings. And talk about the Seattle thing. You're too good for that and its unnecessary.

I wouldn't clown the lowly Kings if fans of the lowly Kings didn't come into the Laker thread and talk crap. There are far more Warriors fans on this board than Kings fans, and they seem to do it much less than Kings fans do. I don't ever go into your guys' threads and do that, but if guys come into here I'm absolutely going to clown on them.

I'm honored that you think that's beneath me, but it's not.

What you all seem to fail to understand is any true bay area fan of the 4 major sports, must have all things LA. Its the same thing as in the MLB and the NHL. #BEATLA

And don't get all mad b/c this is the 1st year your great heralded franchise will struggle in God knows how long, so us Kings fans trolling is understandable.
