Well if you believe that, wouldn't that be a reason for Matheny's job to be in jeopardy? Isn't it his job to make sure that isn't the case? Your few sentences literally contradicted each other.

Let me make my point again for you:
1) Matheny's job isnt in jeopardy
* You were the one saying he might be the NL Manager of Year. He won 100 games despite injuries. He has gotten the team to the post season 4 times in a row. You think he might lose his job?

2) It isnt his fault that the Cubs got beat by a better team. Why is that hard for you to understand? He lost Molina, Wainwright, and Martinez putting his team at a disadvantage. As far as I could tell he didnt make strategic blunders or do anything to lose a game let alone the series. This isnt the butcher job that Matt Williams did last year in the playoffs. His team got beat by the stronger team with better pitching and more power.

So since you somehow want to argue this point please tell me which is wrong? DO you think Matheny's job is in jeopardy or do you think he is to blame for the loss? What I really dont get is the fact that you, of all people, would not agree with my statement.

99.9% of your posts are how great the Giants are and how terrible the Cardinals are. I don't think you know anything outside of that. Do you even know what teams are playing in the AL currently? I've tried being nice with you, but you seriously bring nothing to the table when discussing the game.
