In 2003 the Giants won 100 games. Guess why it didnt matter?

I've always thought it's funny how much Norcals hate Socals compared to vice versa.

I know plenty of Dodger fans that would disagree. Plenty of hatred on both sides.

I mean the regions in general. I've spent enough time in the Bay Area to know that Norcals dislike Socals waaaaaaay more than vice versa. It's not even close.

And I don't think anyone in here has made an unprovoked, anti-Giants post. I'm bandwagon as hell because this team's really fun to watch, so I don't say s**t about anyone. But in here it's just salty Giants fans coming in and talking crap for no reason, and I think that's funny.

EDIT: No idea why "anyone" is linked.

As long as you admit youre a bandwagoner, its all good. I just think its funny when this thread sat dormant for the first half of the season, and now everyones posting in here like theyve been a fan all along.

Some people think owning an "LA" new era cap makes you a Dodger fan.

I come in here and talk crap because its fun. Giants/Dodgers is supposed to be full of crap talk. I wish there were more regular Dodger fans on here to talk crap with every year like we do with jrg, knowledge, or val.
lol and now im the top poster in this thread for the year. for shame Dodger fans!

Well considering where you live your being bandwagon as hell is understandable and fine with me. If you were like the Dodgers fans I know, and conversely talked crap about the Giants successes ('10,'12) for no reason I would be and have been amused as well.

I have not hidden my utter disdain for the Dodger organization, especially recently due to their 'buy up everything' philosophy. They have become much easier to hate. This isn't new, D battery beanball wars in the bleachers at Candlestick in the mid-late 90's were a regular thing. It's a rivalry, perhaps one of the best in all of sports.

And I cannot speak to the geographical one-sided-ness that you speak of, as I rarely make it down to LA much.

don't be mad at the dodgers for playing within MLB's dumb rule of no salary cap. Yankees/Angels/Red Sox/etc also do it.

Oh please. Let's not act like Candlestick wasn't half full of fans for the other team as recently as 3 years ago. I'm not much of a baseball fan, and I'm enjoying following a local team that's on a historic run. I'm a die hard fan of the teams in the two sports that I care about. I'm not nearly as invested as you guys are, but you Giants fans are definitely salty.

None of those other teams are in my division but fyi I don't like any of them either.

Not sure what you mean by that, the Giants have not played in Candlestick since 1999.
This may be one of the longest troll threads in the history of the WZ. lol

49ers. Same fan base/region as the Giants.

Still unsure where you're going with this. Are you saying that bay area fans are more bandwagon than SoCal fans? We can agree to disagree I guess.

And it would be hard to lump 49er fans in with Giants fans. Alot of Giants fans are so ignorant they would fill AT&T to the brim even if the ownership was running the team into the ground.

In May Dodger stadium was half full.
