Utah's making a mistake if they plan on putting the ball in Burke's hands and putting Exum at the 2. He creates many more opportunities for himself and teammates than Burke does. His first step & change of speed is superb as well. He reminds me of Tony Parker when he was young.
Was really impressed by Gobert as well. The talents always been there, but he seems to be figuring out how basketball works. Saw him hard hedge a pick & roll on the perimeter, then recover for a steal in the paint at the end of the 1st half. Really impressive play that few bigs can make. He might make a pretty big leap this year.

Exum looked awesome. Hes so raw, but you can tell hes a star waiting to break out once he gets more reps. Its hard to think he just turned 19.
Hes already got the basketball IQ, ball movement skills, and first step. If he just works on his shooting and defense, he can be an elite player someday.

I'm really hoping they adjust and have Exum handle the ball more as well. I don't know what it is about Burke but he does have a horrible habit of holding the ball for way too long and then popping up for a 3 or a long 2. He did it a lot last year and it drove me nuts.
Really good to hear all these things about Gobert too. It sounds like he's starting to get it figured out now and I hope he gets plenty of playing time off the bench this season.

Talking on Utah sports about the Jazz pursuing Josh McRoberts if the deal doesn't go through in Miami. Said they were waiting on GH and for MW to make a decision.
First I've heard of this so not sure what truth there is. By Googling it looks like he's pretty committed to Miami.

Yeah I think they were talking out of their asses. As said, I googled it and there were reports that he may back out of it since LBJ signed with Cle. but the more I read I think it's bogus. Been on vacation so haven't been able to keep up with everything.
Following LeBron's announcement, there was some speculation that McRoberts might back out of his deal with the Heat, as he was sold on playing with a roster that ultimately won't be in place.http://fansided.com/2014/07/12/josh-mcroberts-wont-back-deal-miami-heat/#!bex8Vt
However, McRoberts' agent made it clear Saturday that the 27-year-old will honor the four year, $23 million contract with Miami.

I kinda figured he would back out since him and Bosh are so similar in how they play but I guess. Surprised MJ didn't step up and try to get him back since he played so well off Jefferson last season. I honestly didn't think he'd make it in the league while watching him at Duke but he has become a decent role player.

Gobert is fun to watch! No way he doesn't get playing time.
Edit: 11 5 and 4 blocks at half

Hoood was crazy tonight! It looks like we got ourselves the shooter we've been missing since Korver left.

There have been a lot of promising moments these last two games for the guys we needed to show something.
Gobert is awesome. Still extremely raw but that is extremely scary to think of. He was everywhere on both sides of the court. Players are going to have to learn that going into the middle is not going to be an easy task, especially with Favors at times.
Hood started hitting his shots. And not only 3's. He hit a couple spot up jumpers with guys in his face and drove the lane once or twice. It's hard not to get excited for the guy. Many had him as a lottery pick, and I think last night showed why. Not only was his offense great, his defense was great as well. Reminded me of JR Smith but only as far as getting extremely hot. Was quite awesome. Players were feeding him the ball unselfishly as well. Not expecting to do that every night, but that threat will still loom every night.
Exum was tentative to shoot or drive, but I would give him an A as far as running the offense. That ankle breaker saniner posted above was amazing! I said something about him going left last game, but that wasn't even an issue. He was using both sides of the lane very well and looked very comfortable dribbling. His defense is really good as well. I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure he played the 3 for a stretch with Burke at the 1 and Hood at the 2.
Burke shot poorly but him and Exum had the offense flowing amazingly. Many are concerned about him but I think he can up his averages from last year.
Motum has given himself a shot to make the team.
My biggest surprise was our offense as a whole. Kept hearing Snyder say "We want to play fast, but not shoot fast". That's exactly what we did last night and it was exciting to watch. Players were moving all over the place, getting open looks and the offense looked organized for the first time in a couple seasons. Definitely had some Popovich in it. If they can translate this into regular season, I think the skies the limit for this team. I think Hayward has a chance to shine with this offense.
Again it's hard not to get excited, this is a summer league game, but in all honesty it was the funnest summer league game I have ever watched. We played extremely well.
