Yea...last night when Gordon hit that buzzer beater - my reaction was - f**kin' a...always losing close games in Utah.

That was a good read though...I remember some of those games.
Nobody is complaining about that Hayward contract right now.

Nope I've been eating plenty of crow since last night.

You didnt like the deal?

We had to spend the money anyways, and he was the biggest talent that wouldve signed here. Best player, veteran leader on a young team, etc. I thought it was perfectly fine.

I thought it was too much and I thought the Jazz really let themselves get burned when they could have got him for 12M a year instead of letting him test the market and signing a max deal.
The Utah Jazz have waived forward/guard Jordan Hamilton.

Following the move, the Jazz roster now stands at 14 players.
Kinda was hoping we'd keep him but I guess Ingles has won over the coaching staff.

Yeah I had high hopes for him. Surprised he never played. Ingles looks good though so it's ok

Haha I know it's an old gif but that's about how I expect coach to be right now, especially with the lazy effort last night. Hayward and Favors weren't assertive and it showed

Only watched the last 5 minutes and they were down 5. Hayward who hasn't scored all 2nd half goes on to score 11 in the final 5. It was nice to see him take charge and actually want the ball.

Exum finished the game again. Wonder if he's going to overtake Burke at some point?

Edit: Ingles 3-3 behind the arc? Cool.

With the way Burke is playing I wouldn't be surprised. It seems like he gets in foul trouble every game. Great win though, guys played smart and only had 11 turnovers (7 from Hayward and Favors combined), and Ingles going 3-3 from downtown was a nice surprise. Who would've thought we would have 3 wins already this year? I know I didn't in the summer.
Exum will be starting after the all star break. My bold prediction for this year. He just looks so dang comfortable out there. Offense plays better, his length causes guards problems, as he doesn't turn the ball over much.

I'm glad Ingles shot more today, he has a good(albeit goofy) shot.

Yeah after thinking about it I think Exum should hit the rookie wall and then start when he breaks out of it. He's gonna hit it at some point so it would be better for his confidence I think if he's already on the bench when it happens. When he does start though I hope Burke accepts his 6th man role. I think he could be a lot like Nate Robinson coming off the bench and give us a nice offensive punch when the 2nd unit is in.

It will be interesting to see when he hits the wall. He isn't getting crazy minutes so far, so he should be able to keep playing longer. My hope is that by the allstar break he's playing 30mpg
