I had to turn the channel a couple of times because we were playing like s**t and I was getting aggravated. Looked good the last 6-7 minutes though, well Gordon did, the rest of the team looked like we played the Clippers yesterday or something. Looked unmotivated and tired.

I guess Snyder called a full timeout last night and just stared at his players.

Quin Snyder sat silently, staring daggers at his team. For an entire timeout, the normally talkative Utah Jazz coach never said a word.
This was his reasoning: If his players weren't going to communicate defensively, why should he communicate with them? So an entire timeout passed uncomfortably between coach and team, all with Utah being dominated by the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves.
"I was tired of saying everything in the timeouts, especially if they weren't executing," Snyder said. "I felt like the guys needed to find their own way a bit. I thought they needed to generate their own energy."
I read places that people don't like Snyder, but I like the dude a lot. I think he has potential to be a pretty good coach. Also this.
That's when Muhammad, who was drafted by the Jazz a year ago and then packaged in a trade for point guard Trey Burke, circled his eyes with his thumbs and forefingers and looked down the bench through a pair of "3-goggles."
Jazz coach Quin Snyder jumped out of his seat.
A moment later, Utah forward Trevor Booker, who had guarded Muhammad on the 3, answered back with a triple of his own, sparking a 20-7 run to close out the game, giving the Jazz a 100-94 victory over Minnesota.
"Yeah, we take that stuff personally," admitted Jazz forward Derrick Favors, who scored 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the win, Utah's fifth in its past seven games. "When he did that, I guess guys started taking it personally and it made us come out there and play harder."
"I don't know what clicked," Booker said. "It was obviously something, though. I think we finally realized we had to play if we wanted to win. Something just clicked and we started rolling."
Was that something Muhammad's gesture?
"I didn't see it," Booker said with a smile. "But ask him how the 'L' feels."
This team is playing better basketball at times being able to close out more games, and also developing an attitude.

I saw that about Muhammad too and just laughed. Dude has his first good game in a year and a half and is starting s**t. Glad we were able to shut him up. Awesome quote by Booker too.

Watched a winning team in U of U instead of the Jazz tonight. Trey 2-19, Kanter won't travel with a sprained ankle. Nice!

I hope they try to move Trey soon. He obviously isn't comfortable with Dante breathing down his neck this year and just needs a fresh start. I'm sick of him.

Trey just isn't a good shooter. He puts together some good games, but overall struggles to hit 40%. He does some things well, but his shooting and lack of defense are hurting this team. 39 minutes?! Garbage.
