***Utah Jazz Thread ***

RT@IAmDPick: Tibor Pleiss - whose rights were traded from OKC to Utah - is working on a deal to join the Jazz, a source said.
Pleiss was averaging 6.9 points & 4.1 rebounds for Barcelona in the Spain. He's one of the top center overseas.

Help is on the way!

RT@ESPNSteinLine: Hearing Utah Jazz lining up 10-day callup of Bryce Cotton from Austin Toros out of D-League.

With the Toros he averaged 22.6 ppg and 4.7 apg, while adding 4.8 rpg and 1.3 spg. Sure, these numbers are impressive, but it's not like they are Morris Almond numbers or anything.

Cotton will help with the point guard load for Dante Exum and Trey Burke, and possibly allow for more creativity in the lineups. Or maybe he'll just sit? We don't know. But this would be roster move #73 for the Jazz this season. Utah, as Dustin reports, is also looking at adding Tibor Pleiss as soon as possible as well.

Nice and Nice!!! Adding another agile looking 7 footer would be nice even if he only plays in spurts.

Roster move number 73?! No way...

Yeah I thought that was kinda high too. Could be true though with all the call ups, 10 day contracts, and such.
Yup 73

Love the moves being made. Both guys bring offense. Whether or not Cotton plays much is yet to be seen, but I can see Pleiss getting 10-15 minutes soon. The outlook for this team looks real nice.
Guess no on Pleiss. Looks like Jack Cooley is getting another 10 day contract with the Jazz.
haven't been able to watch of the last two games but is our defense seriously this much better without Kanter? I can't believe how well we've shut down two playoff teams since the trade.
David Locke @Lockedonsports
With Gobert and Favors starting the Jazz have held the Bulls, Blazers and the Spurs to season low points.
They look so different without Kanter. They're playing so well together, I hope they keep it up

I don't know but it's definitely fun to watch. I'll tell you one thing, I think the lineup of Favors, Gobert, and Booker is just as effective as Favors, Kanter, Gobert just in different ways. We played extremely well tonight pretty much on all phases. I know the stat sheet doesn't show it but I thought Exum played nicely tonight. He showed that he has the talent to do a lot of different things out there, he just lacks that offensive prowess at the moment.

Trey was man of the night though even though pretty much every single player played well. Fun game .

Spurs need to get going. Going into the playoffs against Memphis or Golden State is not gonna end well for Duncan and company.

Forgot about the Bulls so I guess last three games. Good to hear about Dante though and I'm glad Booker is doing so well. He's like a poor man's Millsap and I'll take that any day.
