I have a Jr. Jazz story.

I played in the Jr. Jazz league for 3 years from ages 7-10. Every year the league included a uniform, group tickets for your team to go to a Jazz game, and a meet and greet with a random Jazz player.

For the meet and greet, all the teams in our specific league went to a local High School gym. You would never know who the player was going to be until the showed up. One year it was Felton Spencer, another it was Chris Morris.

So this specific year, all the kids and their parents are waiting in the gym bleachers. The gym doors open, and in walks Karl Malone with a couple team reps. Were all flipping out, because it was who every kid hoped it would be, but knew it probably wasn't something the stars would go do.

Malone then gives this super awkward, inappropriate lecture about how he has had to deal with racism in his life. Almost like hes scolding a room of white people, and trying to make sure us kids knew better when we got older. He even said (as a joke), "I know how it is, some of you probably have some sheets hanging in your closet" to the crowd.

At the end all the kids were asking him to dunk a ball, but he didnt. Also didnt sign any autographs, even though there were maybe 100 kids there.

At the time I was just thrilled to see him in person, and didnt expect an autograph or anything. But looking back I kind of realized he just did the bare minimum.

Still my favorite player of all time either way. Hes not the brightest guy. I dont hold it against him.

Yeah Malone is definitely an a*****e. I've heard stories about him as well just being a complete dips**t. My boss said he used to do an exercise class he ran and he would treat people like garbage. Said it worked really well though, but he was hard to be around.

Any of you guys going to the Rocky Mountain Revue? I'm thinking about heading down for it.

I may go check out a game or two but I doubt it. Depends on who we get.

Yeah I gotta find out what the price is for all of it too but I figured it would be cool to possibly meet Rodney and Dante.
The Utah Jazz set a franchise record for three-pointers made in a season, knocking down 610 in 2014-15. Their previous record was 543 in 2013-14.

Trey Burke and Gordon Hayward moved into the top five in Jazz franchise history for three-pointers made in a season.

Thats so crazy its hard to believe

Interesting, but it makes sense remembering how it was a sin to shoot 3's under Sloan and Corbin.
So it appears Tomic just used the Jazz to leverage a better deal in Barcelona. He won't be coming over to Utah as he just signed a 2 year deal.

Oh well, hopefully Myles Turner falls in the draft. He would make a great third big in Utah
f**k that dude
Pretty optimistic about the direction of this team. Lindsey has made some great moves building this team, and is bringing in just about any player he can in for a visit. Draft lottery is tomorrow, and although I don't see a move up, it'll be nice to know where they pick. I fully expect to see some trades on draft night from Utah

Wow... Wonder if he's hitting some crazy growth spurt? That would make him pretty dynamic in this offense. That's IF he can grow into a good player, which right now it's tough to say.

lol Exum is so young hes in the NBA, but isnt done growing.

I really hope he takes that next step. I love his vision of the court as a PG, but he has the tools, and potential to be a legit scorer. Not sure if I want him to settle for just being a distributor.

Love me some Milsap, but why? Where does he fit? He doesn't bring in shooting, he's not going to start over Favors, he doesn't want to come off the bench, and he will probably want a good amount of money. The only way I can see him coming here is starting at the 3, and that leaves us with no shooting. I just feel there might be better prospects available, unless he wants to be a sixth man.

Yeah I have no idea either. 6th Man is the only role I can see him at too but he's gonna get Max or near Max money this summer so I don't think theres any way he'll come back.
