Fall is in the air, and so is baseball's postseason. The quest to see who's baseball's best team begins on the first day of October (with wild-card action), through the division series, through the league championship series and finally The World Series. Who will win? Who will choke? Who will be Mr.October? What moments will defined this October? The excitement of the second season is in play.
The Detroit Tigers will be favored to go back to the Fall Classic but the Red Sox look like a well-balanced team; don't forget those Oakland A's.
The Los Angeles Dodgers will be favored (and possibly win) to go to the Fall Classic, but they face a potentially interesting matchup with the St. Louis Cardinals. The Pittsburgh Pirates look like a dangerous dark horse but will have to see if they can get past the wild-card round.
