I never understood why that matters to ppl. Why do ppl care so much about who is rooting for whom?

It's just a matter of having some pride for your area/where you grew and not jumping on bandwagons just because the home team is bad. If it was the same way I would have become a Laker fan when I moved to LA 10+ years ago.

I'm half Italian and half Portuguese and I'm rooting for the US even though the teams my family is technically from are better.

...yea - that's fine if you believe in all of that. Why do you care if someone else believes in it or not? Everyone has different criteria. No team stays on top - so if you're rooting for the same team/player through ups and downs - you're not jumping on any bandwagon
wtf that stat is ridiculous. I shouldn't have chosen argentina in my bracket lol.

Hasn't lost at home in a competitive game since 1975

wow
croatia playing great
Nearly shut Sao Paolo up at 3' .
Dejan Lovren (Croatian CB) to Liverpool?
Olic neeearly....... 7'
Modric is a beast!
OWN GOAL!!! YES!!! 10'
Does Brazil actually mark in the midfield? Or nah? Wow, terrible coverage.
ROFL
lol marcelo lol fuk real madrid
Does anyone have a good stream? ESPN thinks I'm outside the USA for some reason and I am having a little bit of difficulty finding one.

No, you're a bandwagon fan if you pick a team just because they're good. Sticking with them when they turn to sh*t just makes you a stubborn bandwagon fan

j/k dude, root for who you want to. I'm a US fan but I'll pull for Italy after we're done.

There's just no loyalty in sports anymore, that's mainly what bothers me. But of course people can root for whoever they want, doesn't mean I have to like it.
I'm streaming it on Univision... it sucks that I have to watch in Spanish. Stupid ESPN. Why the hell does it think I'm not in the US?
