FIFA WORLD CUP 2014 THREAD

Wasn't around a computer to post yesterday but wanted to comment on the game. My 16-year old cousin nearly ruined the game for me when, after Marcelo's OG, made a comment about something something at FIFA.com had leaked the game would end a 2-2 with an OG. DO NOT f**k WITH SOCCER AND THE CONCEPT THAT IS RIGGED. I WILL CUT YOU. So anyways (no I didn't murder my cousin) I spent the rest of the day rooting for anything but a 2-2 tie, and you could imagine how I felt when Brazil was awarded that godawful PK (made worse by the fact the ref handed out a yellow card ... FOR WHAT?!?!?!). So even though Croatia deserved better I kept rooting for 3-1 or better, which I eventually got thanks to the best player of the game IMO - Oscar. He kept giving Croatia fits on the right side all day long. I thought Neymar played a good game as well and I loved that he wasn't overwhelmed by the moment (though he did come off nervous on that PK, got lucky). Croatia played better in the 2nd half than the 1st but had nothing to show for unfortunately. I'm feeling good about picking them to advance as A2. Brazil looks like Tarzan on paper but at times played closer like Jane. They still got the 3pts though and can get better

Cameroon is one of my all-time favorites so I'm rooting for them today.

Eto'o's team playing much better now, went from taking the punches to putting Mexico on the ropes at times. Fun game so far.

I'm watching on Univision and they correctly pointed out you don't call offsides if it deflects from a defender (which it did)

Watching soccer is so much better in Spanish lol
