My impression from that first half is Mexico started better, partly because Cameroon seemed to be happy to sit back and wait, but as the game went on it started to get even. Good opportunities for both sides with Eto'o barely missing a goal and Mexico getting two goals taken away with BAD offsides calls. Ugh. Cameroon with their classic physical style of play. Mexico is playing slightly better, especially on the front end where they seem to put plays together much better than Cameroon (although both teams could improve).

Yep he even went on to say the offside call may have been on a different guy the one in front of dos sqntos who came back.

I didnt see the first goal by dos santos. I can forgive that call. That is such a close call that if the AR is a 1/2foot further down field he sees green and puts the flag up.

but that corner, there is not a single excuse I can think of.

Did you see a mexico player touch the ball? The answer is no, so why did you call it?

refs have decided the first 2 games now. pretty disappointing

Even in that still the camera is about 5ft(?) Towards the center line, and the referee is 1 step towarss the touch. That play is closer than it looked in that still.
