Score lines don't always tell you the whole story. I didn't watch that game, but from what I read, Germany dominated the French....completely suffocated them until the end when France had a couple of chances.
Germany didn't dominate. Most Of the game was played in midfield - very few chances created by both teams. In fact - France created better chances to tie the game in later stages.
Germany is good but any decent team would have tacked at least 3 goals on Brazil today in 1st half.
Germany scored early and then just seemed to control the game for the most part with conservative play. At least, that is what I saw and I do not claim to be a soccer guru. I wonder how the game might have played out if France had scored first.
Yea...and I wouldn't even say control the game. It was just a very boring uninspired game from the French team and Germans too after scoring an early goal. French didn't really go all out to attack Germany (till later stages when they created 2 excellent chances and should have converted one of them).
Germany is really good...but it's not like Brazil had no chance today. The moment got the best of them without their captain directing traffic.
