Me and Wayne Rooney are still tied on the World Cup Goal Scoring all-time list.
And at least I haven't had the worst World Cup corner kick ever.

I'd still take Rooney and Messi everyday over Donovan. Donovan is one of the most overrated "stars" of American sports ever.

Look at the level of players on England and Argentina, now look at who Donovan has played with. When Donovan is the only scoring threat with most of the chances, of course he's going to score. Messi and Rooney haven't needed to score every goal for their countries.
