Yankees demoted Clint Frazier to AAA. He's hitting .282/.330/.513 with 11 homers.

With everything he's dealt with since coming to NY, I wouldn't be surprised if he requests to be traded at this point.

Thats just tanking his trade value. Good look getting what hes worth after demoting him to AAA during a good season.

Is it though? Everyone knows the Yanks' lineup is extremely bloated and Frazier has proven he's a major league hitter.

I hate that trade for Encarnacion though. I would have rather had Stanton or Judge taking turns at DH and keeping Frazier in the outfield. Typical Cashman though, he loves aging sluggers.

Teams in negotiations for Frazier are definitely going to hold that against the Yankees. "He was performing perfectly fine in the Bigs, and you demoted him to AAA. What's the problem here? He cant be THAT valuable to you then."

The Aaron Hicks contract made no sense to me. Your OF is overloaded, and you desperately need SP, but you pay Hicks and block Frazier to the point where he's literally not needed, yet you've kept him around to the point where now hes being demoted during a nice season.

Tough to put a non closer RP in the AS game.
Apparently the Rays are exploring the possibility of playing half their home games in Montreal in the future. Ticket sales are that bad.

Ironically, Montreal lost their team because of the same issues.
