I can see why. First of all the throw was coming from RF. Anyone with a brain knows that the proper play is to slide on the outside of the plate to avoid the tag. Secondly, when Lucrow is going for the ball on the infield side of home plate Marisnick veers right into him and makes no attempt at a slide.
Not saying that Marisnick intentionally tried to hurt Molina but he certainly made a terrible decision and play.

Looks like Marisnick made a last second decision to slide on the inside because Lucroy appeared to be outside. Of course Lucroy comes in just at that moment. I don't think it was intentional.

Hes not sliding, its a head first tackle. Even in the nfl this would be a fine. That was a dirty play.

He was attempting a head first slide. Lucroy just happened to move forward at the same time. Still wasn't malicious imo.
