Oakland fans booed the Rays coming off the field into the dugout after the celebration.

What should they have been doing? Cheering?

Not booing the opponent just because they're bitter?
Are you saying this because it's the A's? I feel like that happens every time an away team beats the home team in postseason games.

I bring it up because the boo's were pronounced enough that the Rays announcers made a comment mid postgame show that they were disappointed in the Oakland fans for not being classy about the loss as the Rays came off the field.

I don't really remember any opposing fanbases booing the Giants much after their past postseason series wins. Obviously there's always a little, but not a focused effort.

I wasn't there, so maybe it was overblown, but the Rays announcers seemed like pretty reasonable, and they took a bit of an issue with it.
fu*k the a's. that's for life.

So if the Patriots played the 49ers this year, I wouldnt be allowed to boo the Patriots? Ridiculous.

If cheering is acceptable, booing is as well. Never understood why people complained about people booing. It isnt not classy to boo.

Acuna's taking a lot of heat for showboating around the bases (yesterday's gaff). What do you all think?

He has done the exact same HR trot all year. You dont want him doing it then dont throw a fastball down the middle. No one is complaining when Yadi was celebrating like he won the world series when throwing him out Acuna in the 1st inning

That he should celebrate more and baseball players and fans need to stop acting like catholic nuns.

i dont know if the yankees will make the ws because Houston is loaded. But I would be very surprised if LA isnt in their 3rd straight WS. They are just so much better than the other NL teams. The champ should be one of those 3.

He was taking a lot more heat for his lack of hustle. There is no excuse for not running all out in a playoff game. Even his own teammates and manager ripped him.

I expect them to reach the WS, my hope is the Astros to beat them again

Booing the team that beat you AFTER the game is over, simply because you lost is called being a poor sport. Obviously the A's fans are frustrated. Pregame, boo the opposing introductions, mid game, boo stuff like showboating or brawls. But after its over the attitude should be "good game". Especially since the Rays and A's are very similar franchises. Doing a lot with very little payroll or stadium attendance. Thought there would be more mutual respect.

This is what happens when you "let the kids play". IMO baseballs unwritten rules enforced sportsmanship and hustle. It feels like the game is starting to lose that element.
