I dont know if Mattingly is to blame. The Dodgers have a $240 million dollar payroll and had no dependable set up guy and marginal starters after their big 3. That is on Colletti.

He certainly has no excuses. The most expensive roster in MLB history. All-Star talent everywhere you look. The best pitcher of his generation. Etc.

Although the team routinely coming up small in big situations isnt all his fault.
