Does Vegas have the capability to go from supporting 0 pro teams to 3 this quickly?
If the A's move to Vegas, Pete Rose needs to start marketing himself as a big A's fan in partnership with Draft Kings, just to make MLB look bad.

Its closer to 2 million. I just think MLB might be hesitant to put a team in the gambling capital of the country, given their history of staunch opposition to it.
Theres also the matter of taxpayers being ok with funding another stadium.
The A's should just sell to Larry Ellison and let him privately fund a new stadium in a nicer part of the east bay.

Charlotte, NC would be a great option as well...

All the sports were hesitant against Vegas and now you have a football and hockey team there. To me its easily the most likely option if the A's do indeed move. They arent going to some small town like Omaha thats for sure. If not Vegas I would guess Charlotte but I think thats a longshot as well.

It's 2021. You can bet on an intramural cricket game in India from your phone in Montana. I don't think this is a big concern anymore.
Speaking of freezing cold takes what'd you think about Ohtani this year?

Ah yes, your only retort. He's STILL on my fantasy baseball keeper team. Still getting hurt every other week, but I love the hitting production.
Its amusing that you and Gore got so butthurt that I simply questioned whether he could be a star hitter and pitcher simultaneously. Here it is 4 years later and you still try and bring it up as if I said he was a total bust.
I had already drafted him at the time I was being skeptical. I was hoping he could do it, but there was no precedence for it. Keep on beating that dead horse if you want, but until he can stay healthy enough to pitch AND hit at a high level for full seasons, there really isn't any room for you to say you were right.

Uhhhhhh IIRC and I have the memory of an elephant he didn't hit well in 3 spring training games his rookie year and you started talking about how he'll never be a good hitter if he doesn't focus only on hitting...

I questioned whether he could do both simultaneously, thinking pitching would be his primary focus, with hitting being the bonus. His hitting has been the primary focus because of all his pitching related injuries. He's had a lot more time to focus on his swing because he just hasn't been able to stay healthy enough to pitch regularly.
I was skeptical that he would be able to be a good-to-great SP while also being a good-to-great hitter over the long haul. He still hasn't done that because of chronic injury issues. That skepticism came from not being able to envision a player taking the mound every 5th day and keep his mechanics sharp on his off days while he also keeps his swing mechanics sharp and hits during that time.
He has yet to do this, but somehow you still try and clown me about that opinion. When he's maintaining a high level of pitching AND hitting for 1-2+ consecutive seasons I will absolutely admit I was off base in my original assessment.

Albert Pujols has reached out to the Cardinals, saying he would take a limited playing role with a mentorship value add, in order to finish his career in a Cardinals uniform.

Pujols to the Dodgers.
Its funny how he said he was looking for somewhere he would play, but then chose to just stayed local to chase one last ring on the bench.
