I think he tried but every other team told him there was no chance he'd get playing time so he stayed in LA so he wouldn't have to move.

It's crazy. I have a friend on the Dodgers and I last saw him in person before he was called up to the majors. And I told him how crazy it is to me that he will pitch against Pujols in spring training. We played little league right at the start of Pujols' career and both looked up to him

Now he's his teammate. Wtf lol

More like the influx of kids throwing 100 mph who have no clue how to control it. Nobody with that kind of heat is forced to learn how to pitch first anymore. They just get rushed up to try and blow it by hitters. Doval is probably going to hit someone like that sooner or later.
