Roberto Alomar under investigation after 3rd woman alleges sexual misconduct

the details are ewwww

I was an 18-year-old Blue Jays fan, and Roberto Alomar was a 46-year-old Hall of Famer and we were alone in the clubhouse," Verge writes. "He pushed his unwelcome body up against me from behind. He assumed I wanted it without even asking my permission."
Later, during a break, Alomar Jr. told Verge that when the camp finished, the two could go to his hotel suite "We can close the door and have some kissing and some loving," Alomar allegedly said.

Gonna end up being beneficial. When perfect games start being more common, we will all remember armando galarraga. 5 year career, 4.78 ERA. But we all remember that lol

I'd rather be considered an average ump and never made that call than to have made that call

One call shouldn't define his career. He didn't cost anyone a WS, he just screwed up a mediocre pitchers' career achievement. Ultimately Galarraga will be remembered even more because of that than if he had actually gotten the perfect game. Nobody really cares about or remembers Dallas Braden's perfect game, but they'll remember Galarraga forever.

Joyce was consistently voted the best ump in the big leagues by the MLBPA survey. I will remember him for being very good, by his famously unique strike call, and his fu manchu all before the Galarraga game.
