I hate this format. It moves too fast and the viewer cant appreciate the bombs that are hit.
Lol
There should be a different tie breaker than adding a minute. They get all tired and s**t. f**ks up the next round
Soto got this🇩🇴!
Lol at that pitch
Damn. He was gassed anyways
That Ohtani/Soto round was really fun

I agree. They should prioritize distance over amount of HR. I think people would be more entertained if there were less HR, but a premium was put on each one and how far it went. Make different sections/decks in the OF worth more or less based on distance.

The current format of "keep swinging until the timer runs out" almost fast forwards through the event because each HR isn't appreciated because there isn't time.

I felt like 75% of the homeruns we didnt even see land.

Distance or total doesnt make a difference to Alonso. No one is beating him. Too bad Vlad Jr. didnt enter. He may have been the only guy to challenge him.
Alonso slays this. I would laugh if he danced and lost in the finals though.

I just want to see the homeruns land. For me its not as much that I think distance should be what wins it as much as I just want to enjoy these moonshots rather than watching the batters/bp pitchers rush to get more chances.

I agree. I went to the one in person in DC a few years ago. The fun part was the oooh and ahhhs of admiring the homers
