One of the most overrated players of this era. 41.6 career WAR in roughly 16 full seasons. Thats 2.6 per season. For comparison, Brett Gardner has a 43.9 WAR in 12 full seasons. Thats 3.7 per season.

Agree with both you and Gore. I know a few Cardinals fans who wanted him gone before the season and are pissed they re-signed him.

players are more than their offensive numbers. yadier is a generational talent and widely known as one of the best defensive players to ever play baseball. PLEASE show me a catcher who has done what this guy in terms of making pitchers better. you'll say some stupid s**t, but ACTUAL MLB PITCHERS will tell you otherwise.
