This club has some deep pockets for a team with 17 fans

they don't have the pitching to do it though...

Indeed, that pitching and overall depth lacks. Still have a lot of holes. They do have some interesting pitching prospects (Leiter & Winn). I do like Allard, Dunning and Howard. Young and inconsistent, but have some nice stuff. If they can get it together that's a nice 3 man rotation. But that's a big "IF" 😀 . That Pen is rough though too. I don't think this will work out to well for them. History usually says so too.

That makes a ton of sense, considering thats his hometown.

Havent seen many tweets on this since I saw it this morning. Maybe it hit a snag? I think it makes sense too.
You'd think the Rangers would have learned their lesson.

Damn. Kinda wanted Seager in STL, but that contract?

Tigers are about to wet their beak in some FA action
So who's winning the offseason? A lot of these signing I'm not a big fan of. Tigers are intriguing. Eduardo was flat bad last year but they got him on a fairly cheap deal because of it. I bet he ends up making that contract look like a bargain. Baez also has a wide range of outcomes with MVP caliber play at the high end of the spectrum he too could make that contract a bargain. Or they could both be sub replacement player level lol. At least they are rolling some dice.

I like the Mariners Robbie Ray signing best move so far imo.

I give the Rangers credit for not being cheap, It may not work out for us but at least they are going a different route than what they usually do.

Well, they've gone the spending route before, and it hasn't worked out. But don't worry man, as an Angels fan I know all about spending money on hitters and saying f**k pitching...
