I'd like to know how many of his hits have been outside the strike zone. Dude is just one of the best pure hitters of all time.

While Cabrera batted eighth in his aforementioned MLB debut, he quickly became a trusted middle-of-the-order bat. Roughly 92 percent of his career hits (2,770) have come while batting either third or fourth in the lineup. With that said, Cabrera does have at least one hit in each lineup slot, including exactly one in the leadoff spot (a pinch-hit single last July 7).

Also, props to him for staying in Detroit all those years. Wish more players stayed with teams that long. Its just a better sounding legacy to me when a city loves and identifies with a player.

I don't get why he still has a job this has been going on for years. Jomboy's breakdown said it was the union I'm not sure if he was being serious or not. If there really is some all powerful umpire union keeping him behind home plate then what MLB should do is appeal to the union to have Hernandez removed. Put the union in the uncomfortable position of having to defend this bs. Everyone can see how bad he is it's going viral.
