FTFY..

then again we both could be right..

then again.. Phillies are gonna have to get in the playoff picture to get your guy in the MVP race..

This isnt the NBA (thank God). MLB rewards the best player having the best season regardless of team record....which is how it should be. I know Jokic won it this year but thats more of an aberration.

Well each league gets an mvp so they could both win it lol.

Yeah Harper won it last year without making playoffs
Don't think anyone's won back to back mvp since Bonds won like 4 in a row

As a Tiger fan you would think you would remember Miguel Cabrera winning back to back MVPs. Albert Pujols also won back to back MVPs since Bonds won 4 in a row

Oh yeah thought it was Miggy Verlander Miggy but it was Verlander Miggy Miggy. No championship no curr.

Who's Albert Pujols? Crazy that was almost 15 years ago.
He had two strikes Tony!
Detroit Tigers 2018 #1 draft pick pitcher Casey Mize will miss 2022, 2023, and maybe parts of 2024 seasons with Tommy John surgery. It seems every MLB staff has pitchers who have undergone the procedure. Drafting any pitcher in the top 5 will become a thing of the past, the risk is too high.

Mize is the third member of the Tigers' young pitching corps to undergo Tommy John surgery while in the system. Alex Faedo, another Tigers first-round Draft pick, underwent surgery in January 2021 and returned to pitching in April. He made just four Minor League appearances before joining the Tigers' rotation, where he has become one of Detroit's most reliable starters. He's just the third pitcher since 1893 to throw at least five innings with two runs or fewer allowed in each of his first seven games.

Wow not cursed!

lol Cano reduced to playing in a Spongbob uniform. Time to retire.

You can give me one of his game checks and I'll wear that thing for an entire calendar year.

This is lame imo. It's most valuable player. How valuable can you be if your club is winning 82 games. The would have missed the playoffs with or without you. Should be given to a player who without that guy this team would not have won the division or the wild card or made it to top record in the league.. etc.
