Oh I'm not gonna lie, seeing the 49ers, Jazz, Yanks, and Ducks be s**t or underachievie have definitely killed my passion for sports. I really don't have much reason to give a s**t anymore, and I just expect the worst now when they do show signs of being great.
fair weather fan lol
I still enjoy listening to HR calls on the radio even if my team sucks. Seeing them walk it off against good teams once a month is still fun to me.
Plus how can you not love s**t like this.
lol

Dude I've been a passionate fan my entire life so don't call me fair weather. I've been there during all the mediocrity and awful seasons for these teams but at some point you just stop investing your emotions to the team. . It just doesn't hit me the same as it used to. Maybe it's because I'm from Montana and I just latched on to whatever teams I felt connected to so I don't have the same connection as local fans but sports in general I've lost a lot of interest in since the pandemic started. They just don't seem as fun or entertaining as they used to. As a fan, it just sucks knowing your team is good but not good enough to be relevant when it matters. Obviously the Yankees have been pretty good but I just haven't been able to connect to the team like I did when Jeter, Rivera and those guys were on it even as they got older I still loved watching them play.

Gonna be a war here between HOU and NYY now and in October..
NYY goes pitching with Montas and Trevino
HOU goes Trey Mancini
Imagine they are both looking for more

Maybe your negative energy is holding them back? Be positive.

Hosmer holding it up
Soto deal will not be official until Hosmer agrees to waive his no-trade stipulation to the Nationals. To this point he has not, according to a source. Negotiations almost certainly taking place.

MLB radio just said the deal is happening anyway.
If he does agree Padres are paying the rest of Hosmer's contract.
If he says no he doesn't go.

The Juan Soto deal is done with the #Padres, and does NOT include Eric Hosmer.

I don't get how some of these baseball and basketball owners can oversee such god awful franchises. The Nats are three years removed from winning it all and now they are rebuilding. I know Giants fans are down on their team, but they have been good for a decade now. They have to be doing something right.
