To the extent that it matters for me, it doesn't. If he were chasing Barry Bonds' career home-runs record I would be more interested.
That said, I am rooting for Judge to break Roger Marris' Yankees club record, 62 may not mean much anymore, but it is still meaningful.
I think a lot of people see it as the true record still.
