You realize Royals/Cards wouldve been just as bad, right? The Bay Area has a market of over 7 million people. This is about the east coast not having a team involved.

Lol, we're not talking about the Cardinals. We're talking about the Giants. They own the record and will likely beat it this year. Not much exciting about the Giants if you aren't a fan of the team. They win, sure, but it won't get people to want to watch. Most watching this WS (outside of SF) are only watching because of the Royals historic run.

James. Just stop. You are somehow getting joy over the ratings as a way to get back at us. It doesnt matter what team is in the WS outside of NY and LA (or the Cubs if they ever make it). People dont watch baseball as much anymore.

I'm not at all. I'm agreeing with you. I think the Cardinals/Royals would be a slightly higher draw, but overall I agree. Hard for the MLB with the Royals in the WS. People are pulling for them, but they won't draw much. Quit taking it as a hit against the Giants. That isn't my intent.

Damn Peavy just has to make one pitch on the 3-2 count to Hosmer and this game may be totally different right now. AGGHHH, we shall see what Timmy has at least right now.

Lol. Is there really a point in posting in two threads? If the WS were Royals vs Mets or some other irrelevant team I'm sure people would be posting in a "WS" thread. We've been posting in the Gs thread all year. Why change just because it's the WS.

Imo this thread is more for posters who aren't fans of either team in the series.

I tell ya what though, if any Giants fans who want to discuss ratings or lack thereof, we'll come here. K?

Well we do it for every other sport. How many WZ SHOWDOWNs have we had for the NBA? I find it weird, but hey, baseball is a superstitious sport. If that's what ya wanna do then go for it. Just explaining why their wasn't a lot of baseball talk in here.

Gotcha. Not speaking for other Giants fans here but it never even crossed my mind to post in a designated WS thread. Not 'hiding' in there, and not trying to keep other fans out. The rally caps thing would look dumb, amongst other reasons.

Not necessarily superstition, just when I post about the Giants, I post in that thread. Kinda like a reflex.

Idk. Since we lost ,they had the postgame sh.t and I just changed it.

Not everyone can have their team in the world series and Joe Buck is the main announcer.
