lol @ people who don't understand baseball.

Like a good movie, tension and suspense build up as you go. You must be a fan of CGI and special effects based movies. As long as there are constant explosions, you're entertained.

World Series Game 1 Rating: 8.0, Lowest in MLB History

So you are comparing the total ratings of a WS to what we were talking about which is Game 1 rating. First of all everyone knows the Tigers suck and no one cares about them. Secondly, when the country realized that they had no chance and it would be a sweep they turned the TVs off. DUH

to clarify the Game 1 ratings was 7.6 for that series and Game 3 was in the 6's
game 4 was in the 8's

and if you don't believe me ask Al Gore cause I don't feel like looking it up again

^^^ THIS ^^^ I am not affiliated with the Fox network ... my livelihood does not depend on a broadcast making money. I just care that I have a team still in the fight. On the other hand, I can see why a butt hurt Cards fan would look to post something negative as a parting shot. Anything to ease the pain of Travis Ishikawa sending you packing in walk off fashion ... now that has to sting
The World Series is putting up Super Bowl numbers in Kansas City. This World Series even with it's "low" ratings is dominating everything else on tv and won't finish with record lows either.

I'm loving the schedule for the World Series games. Baseball was very smart with the Tues, Wed, Fri-Sun schedule. The back to back games keeps the talk going rather than NBA's stupid 3 days wait between games to make it seem like there's no series.

I watched a game there a few years back right before the score board Reno. Was nice.
