Great game, great win, and 3-0 without David Lee. Loving it

Myself I was very opposed to making that trade because I thought Thompson would keep improving and expanding his game, plus with more time to hone that chemistry with Curry they could develop into the best backcourt in NBA and one of the best ever.

I like David Lee but as the team wins without him and if there's a feeling that they don't really miss him, then I wonder if his days with the Warriors are numbered.

So glad the Warriors clamped down on D and pulled that game out last night, helped wash away some of the stench that is the 49ers right now.

I dont think the Warriors will move Lee this year with a real chance at being a title contender. However, I do believe they will trade him in the off season to a team that is looking for an expiring contract. I also think the Dubs will need Lee's scoring this year as there really isnt much of a 3rd scoring threat behind Steph and Klay.

I don't think this team will be successful if Green was starting everyday. Lee is gonna be huge for this team.

That's true. If Steph and Klay struggles shooting they need a scoring big man to go along with it. Is there any possible free agent or trade we could do next year for David Lee?

This, and a lot of people fail to realize it. Heck, Barbosa had to step up last night and be that 3rd option because Iggy has decided for a 2nd straight year he isn't going to shoot.

Honestly, the Dubs might be better off having Green start and Lee come off the bench. The 2nd team needs someone who can score.

lol possibly.

but if the trade was Klay/Lee for AD, NO would have to consider that a lineup with Holiday, Klay, Lee/Anderson, Asik, Tyreke would still be pretty good

Who knows if he can do it for the entire season, but Barbosa had the mentality to come in and score off the bench, which this team so desperately needs. He was able to get to the rim and even shoot it a little bit. He could end up being a pretty big pickup for us, because he looks like literally our only bench guy with a score-first mentality.

And Lee would be nice, but I think Green is better suited to be the bench. Don't know why, but I'd just rather keep Lee in the starting lineup.

I doubt NO would trade AD for any player in the league (maybe Durant) and certainly not for Klay and Lee. He is untradeable at just about any price.

I think he is just daydreaming the unibrow is untradeable he is the next best big man on the league. I think couple of more years he will be better than Dwight.

With baseball now over and the Niners...oh man, the Niners, not saying they're done or anything but the season is ever so slightly starting to circle the drain...so I'm probably too pumped for the Dubs. Long season and all that, but in my nearly 40 seasons of Warriors basketball this is easily the most excited I've been for them...at this point don't think they're quite at championship level, but love the direction this team is headed.
