Hell, that group would be better than a LOT of teams starting 5. I really believe that Kerr is going to keep Lee coming off the bench too when he gets back. Last night David went for 6 pts in 7 minutes and can provide instant offense which is needed on that 2nd unit.

The West is just so sick. The top 7 teams in the West (including OKC if healthy) would beat any team in the East right now. It wont be a slam dunk for the Dubs to get a top 4 spot even as good as they are. SA, Memphis, Houston, Clips, and Dallas will all be over 50+ wins.

That is a great second unit. When Lee is completely healthy, is there even room for Speights? Or Rush (given his knee is good)? Good having those guys deep on the bench as you never know - it's a long season.

I think Speights will have a role. Big men who can shoot are always valuable. As for Rush, the jury is still out on whether he has anywhere near the game he had before his injury and I think its going to be very tough for him to get much playing time.

Warriors will be even better if festus can develop his offense a little more. That would be a tremendous help down the stretch and playoffs

Ezeli's biggest problem in my opinion are his hands. I doubt he is ever going to be much of an offensive threat but if he can catch the ball, defend, and rebound that is all the Dubs really need from him.

Yeah I agree. he has hands of stone. not much he can do to improve this unless he hits the jug machine
Mark Spears was gushing about the W's bench this year.

Got to admit I like the idea of Iggy and Lee coming in on the 2nd unit - constant scoring threats throughout the game.
4-0, impressive start for Kerr.

The maturation of Klay Thompson is something to behold, dude isn't even the best he can be yet, but Spears thinks he could be the best 2 guard in the game, maybe even the best on the team.

She's alright. Kinda cute. Seems a little nervous at times. What happened to Bucher?

Bucher left 95.7 The Game and CSN Bay Area for Bleacher Report
Draymond...Van Gundy thinks he'll command $10-$12M per season for his next contract. We need him long-term and I'm curious if it'll take close to that to keep him? If so, someone (Lee after next season?) will unfortunately probably have to go. Although, you keep hearing about this new huge T.V. deal that will push everything up and give more room for salaries. Where's ABRules to figure this all out?

Ahh okay, thanks. I figured he wouldn't stay here long. BR is based in SF, so hopefully he continues to cover the team in some capacity.

The depth of this team is VERY impressive. Definitely one of the most talented rosters front-to-back in the NBA. Trying not to get too big headed after 4 games, but this is the best Warrior team I've seen in my lifetime.

Honestly...I think Klay is already the best 2 guard in the NBA. He's certainly the most complete player at his position.

Not sure he'll get $10-12M...seems a little high. If he was hitting FA in 2016 with the new salary cap, he could very well get that.

I think some team will sign him to an offer sheet around $8 mil per, and the Warriors will match. It would put them well over the luxury tax in 2015, but in 2016 the cap will rise significantly and David Lee's $15 mil salary comes off the books. That will enable us to avoid the dreaded "repeater tax". I strongly believe Lacob will cough up the money to keep Draymond. He's a special player.

I agree - he offers so much to this team with his all-around game, attitude, etc. He fits in very well and I'm sure Kerr will also do what he can to lobby to Lacob to pay him what it takes to keep him. What a great draft pick he's turned out to be, especially given where he was drafted.

I agree with this although I wouldnt be shocked to see Draymond get `10M per. He is the kind of guy that successful teams want - not flashy but does everything well. I really believe Lee will be traded in the off season for a team that is willing to pay for 1 year and then have an expiring contract. I dont see anyway the Dubs let Green walk away.
