I heard that in all of the Bulls championships with Jordan that they never had a game 7 in the finals. Is that correct? If so, that is amazing in itself.

Never a game 7. Bulls had a championship defense that wouldn't allow a game 7. Two 3 peats worth of defense!

Cavs trying to get Channing Frye offering Sideshow Bob.

I don't like that trade for the Cavs, Frye is a defensive liability.

Unless it's a move to improve their bench.

It is strictly that. Cavs needed someone to spread the floor when Love is on the bench. I'm just not sure how much he has left but Cavs GM was with the Suns when Frye had some decent seasons - so who knows

Plus, Varejao wasn't doing anything and has a bigger contract than Frye. So, not a bad move at all for Cavs. They get someone who can contribute...I just don't think it's enough. They needed to somehow land Anderson or Korver.

Oh well...something better than nothing.

Warriors are in the class of their own. They're the best team I've seen since I started watching NBA. Obviously, Cavs are not there...not even close and they're still figuring it out - which is normal when you have a new coach in mid-season. Unlike the Warriors who are chasing history in the regular season - wins and loses don't matter a whole lot for the Cavs right now. All they're trying to do is get to their best by April and they'll go through some growing pains. I've seen every single game this season - and Lue has shown to manage the game better already.

Two of the 3 loses they've had under Lue is because of too many missed FTs...not bad coaching.

Last night they lost not only because they missed so many FTs but refs f**ked it up too.

NBA announces JR Smith was incorrectly called for a foul in final 5 seconds last night that set up Celtics 5-point possession to beat Cavs.

Are you saying best team as in this year or are we comparing them to three peat Bulls and Lakers teams already? GS are on their way but they gotta do it first. Also someone asked Steph was he the games best and there is a case for that but I still think LeBron is the games best. I think Steph is the best player on the best team but LeBron is the only guy that can dominate on both ends and by himself change the fortunes of franchises essentially guaranteeing 50 win seasons and contention status wherever he goes. I am not sure if Steph and LeBron trade places Steph fares better. I could be wrong but the last few years I've seen LeBron as THE game changer

Just my opinion...eye test, if you may. Totally subjective. Warriors look and feel like the best team I've seen. Just what I feel.

I think Lebron and Steph are pretty much the two best players on the planet. Steph obviously reached that level this season...and will have to continue at this level to take over Lebron but I can't say he is behind Lebron. Of course, Lebron can play both ends and carry his team like no one else in the NBA but what Steph is doing right now is special as well.

Well he's behind in chip count MVPs and Olympic gold medals. LeBron carried the US the last time out in the tourney vs the worlds best. No other player could handle that load but LeBron did and this was in the midst of him making five consecutive NBA Finals runs. Steph on fire right now but I just feel that whatever team you put a LeBron on the last few years immediately became a championship contender especially out East. Even in last year's Finals you could see and feel Lebrons impact every game. Steph doing his thing but I ain't seen him do it like LeBron yet. Maybe in a couple years I will change my tune but LeBron can dominate at four positions right now

I'm not expecting Curry to hit a growth spurt and grow to be 6'8 250, so I dont hold not playing 4 positions against him. Curry is a more skilled player. What makes Lebron great is his physical ability. What makes Steph great is his basketball ability. I'm sure if Curry had the ball hog mentality, and shot the ball as many times as Lebron in the finals, he'd probably do it better than Lebron. If you put Brons skill set in Currys body, you'd have a mediocre player. Put Currys skill set in Brons body, and you might as well shut the league down, because it really wouldn't be fair.

Not saying Lebron isn't great in his own right, he is, but i give the nod to the guy that's great because of his skills, not because of the body he was given.

Definitely. He's a bigger version of Pipen and the best passer in the league. His passing skills and feeling the game out is second to none. To be able to dominate the passing game at his size and then go on to score 25-26 ppg during his 13 yr. career is something special. Then dominate on the other end too. He's a complete player. Lebron can carry a team like no one else. That's undeniable. I just think Curry has closed the gap but to be truly considered the best in the game - he has to do it for more years.

Being able to play 4 positions on both offense and defense is major skill set. Lebron can play Curry's position at 6'8 260. That's not because of the body he was "given"

...and body is built not given. Pretty sure he wasn't born 6'8 260lbs.

So much nonsense and BS in this post. Pure hatery.
Cavaliers and LeBron fans refuse to admit that his defense is declining in a major way.

He has looked lazy as hell on defense this year. Last night, his defense was back on point. I think he just needs to turn it on to be honest.

That's very true.
