I saw him winning for CLE and reestablishing himself as the best player in the world. Little else mattered

Oh you mean he actually had time to digest what happened and it's significance before speaking this time? He has done nothing but give credit to Lue and his teammates throughout the entire postseason and Finals. God forbid he talks about his journey right after he was able to get his city their first ever championship Get real...

This and I was wrong. It's not even close.
Cavs drafted Isiah Thomas II clone in 2nd round

Should be fun to watch in summer league.

Yeup...it was a great speech. His teammates have always loved playing with him. That tells me everything about the kind of leader and teammate he is.

lol yet if they had lost, there would be so much grumbling about how dysfunctional the organization is with LeBron calling all the shots, Lue being a mascot of a coach, Love being the wrong fit, LeBron coming up short again, Cleveland being cursed, etc.

Lolz I doubt any team can get to game 7 of the NBA finals with a dysfunctional team and FO.

If you watched this team towards the end of the reg season and start of the playoffs they really came around and rallied around each other and their coach.

LeBron got to game 7 of the Finals by being the best player in a cupcake conference, and then bull rushing a tired, overconfident, finesse Warriors team in the Finals.

Any time one star player calls ALL the shots for a team (which he absolutely does), there will be internal doubts unless you win the title.

Dont tell me that you actually believe that Tyronn Lue is a real coach. LeBron is the coach. Hes also the GM. He chooses these guys because they are ok with him having the last word.

The Giants saw this same situation with Barry Bonds. When a legendary talent gets to be such a valuable commodity, what HE wants starts becoming the most important thing. Bonds did what he wanted, when he wanted. He didnt get along with a HOF talent like Jeff Kent, and Kent was sent packing. It's inevitable.

You guys won, so all is well now. Winning cures all. But had they lost, there would be a dramatically different tone in Cleveland.

Problem being they didn't lose...
Why do ppl come and post something which they have no clue about?

Bonds and Lebron are completely different. That may be the weirdest comparison. Lebron is often accused of being too close to his teammates lol

At least try to follow the team first before making absurd over reaching remarks.

The team chemistry was bad under Blatt for various reasons. Main reason was - there was no set role for bench players and it frustrated the hell out of vets. They'd be playing 15 minutes one game and then not at all the game after. Also, Lebron was not held accountable for his missed assignments. It was not like Lebron was doing whatever he wanted and treated teammates like s**t. It was Blatt not able to stand up his best player.

...and all local reporters have said since Late Feb. and early March that players seem to have great relationship off the court. A lot of dinners and bowling nights together.

Oh and yea - they won! You don't win a Warriors team down 3-1 if you don't have great locker room.

Lol @ tired, finesse over-confident team. What a joke?!?

Lebron is now a top 5 player of all time. Deal with it!

They just can't accept that they had it until they woke the sleeping giant with their poor sport trash talk and obsession with ball sacks. They blame Lebron for Green having 7 technicals, and was already under the microscope against houston(didn't green pledge to grow up?).

They loved it when Curry yelled at OKC fans but cried when fluke boy couldn't handle the pressure(unlike LBJ). They need closure, but they can't accept that they were a fluke who played a one man team last year.

They want to talk about star treatment but don't acknowledge how many calls they got in their embarrassing 9 loss season helped out by said refs.

I don't even see it that way. He had great games when Draymond was out, Iggys back acted up, and Bogut went down, but we still should've won. Missed a ton of shots we usually hit. Can't blame anyone but themselves

lol which part is untrue? Were they tired? Of course. They pushed to the very end to win 73 games. Were they overconfident? Obviously. They had the best season ever, beat you last year, and were up 3-1. Its safe to say they were highly overconfident. Were they a finesse team? Theyre built to get hot and drain 3's, not to control the paint and muscle it in for 2.

All very clear factors in the series loss. At the end LeBron muscled his way to 2 pts repeatedly, and the Warriors had no answer because they werent hitting their 3's.

My comparison to Bonds was in relation to organizational power, not relationship with teammates.

The point is, if you lose, there isnt the same positive attitude surrounding the team. Everyone would be asking if the current system was flawed.

ABSOLUTELY FLAWED LOGIC.

Tell that to the 2008 Lakers who were crushed by the Celtics then regrouped and came back and won two straight titles.
Tell that to the 2013 Spurs who lost a heart breaking 7 game series to the Heat, then regrouped and came back and trounced the Heat the next year.
Tell that to the 2015 Cavs who were embarrassed by upstart GS in the Finals, then regrouped and came back and defeated the defending champs last Sunday.

And listen to yourself, what are you exactly trying to say? That when teams lose they feel sad and disappointed and frustrated? Well doh, right? What matters most is how you pick yourself up and bounce back and each of the three teams I noted above did so with few roster/personnel moves save for a few bench players here and there and for the Cavs this year, it meant Coach Blatt.

My goodness this is the norm in ALL of SPORTS.

All irrelevant because he had a game 7 at home and played horrible! In a close game is where the team expects their leader to step up and make plays in some way but he didn't. He shot 1-6 in the 4th with costly turnovers and rushed shots (couldn't even hit the wide open shot he had off the screen from the wing). He was trash in the biggest game of their lives. Nothing else mattered up until that point because he had a chance to lead his team to victory and failed miserably

Man, you sound like a bitter hater. Like Ayesha Curry on twitter. I assumed you were a male.

You cant apply the same generic logic to every situation in sports. The Cavs had already lost their last 2 Finals with LeBron in charge, and he had taken over control of the franchise with his choices in coaching and players. If he struck out a 3rd time, people would definitely be questioning the power structure in Cleveland. Its more than just "sad if we lose, happy if we win".

How can anyone doubt that if the Cavs had lost again, there would be some serious criticisms of the way things were going in Cleveland...
