Game over. The Clippers were just making their outside shots more consistently than we were.

I don't like this new rule of Horny's about the techs. If you get a tech you're out of the rest of the game? Lame. I know you want to stop this team from becoming a bunch of whiners, but find something else to punish the guys with. I can see why he pulled Dragic the other night because he was having a s**tty game, but Markieff was balling tonight. You did the Clippers a big favor by doing so, and if you haven't noticed we're in the thick of a playoff race here!

Albert said he thought that the tech rule was that if you pick up a tech mouthing off to the ref you out for the game, Albert thought Markieff would be back in the game because Markieff was mouthing off to a player not a ref.
Idk there are so many rules to the techs I'm confused.

Either way, it's dumb to pull a guy having a good game because he said something the ref didn't like. The ref could've just as easily let it slide and 'Kieff doesn't get benched. Refs have always been fairly inconsistent with calling Techs because it really has more to do with their mood and tolerance at the moment than it does the player's. If we were well out of the playoff race then I'd have no problem with this, but we're not. We're right there for the first time in nearly half a decade.

Sounds to me like Barnes got a big ol' bowl of sour grapes and he doesn't like it. Suck it, dicktard!

Video shows Barnes was 25 to 30 feet away from Sarver's corner seat with his back turned to him when he made his profane comment. His words were directed into the sideline seats, where three fans were heckling him.

New 'T' policy

Hornacek has tried letting the players keep their feisty edge but they wound up leading the NBA in technical fouls and ostensibly leading to a loss at San Antonio. Hornacek tried telling players they would be benched for getting a technical over arguing with officials but Goran Dragic and Markieff Morris did it anyway in consecutive games last weekend. The latter turned a third-quarter tie into a 20-point loss to the Clippers.

They found middle ground Tuesday.

"We're just going to try to do a better job as teammates to corral each other when they start to argue," Hornacek said. "The guys (said) they would do that.

"I told them, 'If you guys do that and kind of help each other out there on the court, we'll kind of look at it and it'll be my discretion whether we do it for the rest of the game.' So we don't have that hard-and-fast rule but I may still sit him for the end of the game if I feel like it."

Glad to see he's made his point and will now back off. It may have very well already cost us a crucial game.

Sunsoholic ‏@SunsoholicMarcus will definitely get suspended, and likely jailed. Markieff doesn't deserve a big punishment, but who knows whats gonna happen.

Argh! If Marcus gets suspended then so be it, but Markieff we can't afford to lose. Is there a guy less afraid to take a shot in crunch time right now?
