I'm actually kind of a bandwagon fan from the early 90's. I was a big kid so wanted to play like Barkley and became a Suns fan after he went to Phoenix. Stuck with the team ever since.

With success breeds bandwagons. We see it with our Niners… but I think Phoenix has always had a pretty dedicated fanbase? Better than the Cardinal fans?

Phoenix has always been an NBA town. The Suns are the OG team out here. Before 2011 and Sarver running the team into the ground, the Suns had the 3rd best winning percentage in NBA history. They were a constant playoff team for decades so excitement definitely fell off with all the bottom-feeding teams that came after but this city is blowing up like back during the Six Seconds or Less Era, as well as the KJ/Barkley/Thunder Dan teams.

Sorry guys especially Sixth and Phoenix - came close and it was a great year. You guys have a really young core and you guys should be contenders for a while if you can keep them together and add to it. Hope to see you guys in the playoffs against Lakers next summer.

If Ayton can muscle up a little more he can become one of the best overall big men in the NBA. Add that to Booker and CP3 (if healthy) and they should compete for a top 3 seed again. Other pieces like Bridges and Payne are nice also.
