Duffy is very deserving and probably #1 right now. I think Syndergaard is the best of the lot and will win it if he pitches like he has been and the Mets make the playoffs but no one can take anything away from the Duffman. If K's are rewarded then it will be a toss up between Bryant and Pederson. LOL

The problem for Syndergaard is, as a pitcher, he will have to be on point in every remaining start. All it would take is one or two crap outings to fall back in the race.

I just hope Bryant and Pederson have cold finishes. Duffy is going to need to have a big Aug./Sept. to make up for his no-name reputation.

Hopefuly the voters do their homework and get it right instead of just being lazy and vote on name value.

Pederson isnt going to win the award unless he gets smoking hot. No way a guy hitting .220 is going to win ROY this year. RIght now its probably Bryant or Syndergaard as the favorites. Bryant has slumped but he was solid for most of the 1st half and has the hype. Syndergaard has just been lights out and pitching as well a Harvey or deGrom for the Mets. As you say, Duffy will have to have a huge couple of months to get noticed nationally. What I meant by my comment earlier was that Duffy was probably #1 as the most deserving - not in who is likely to win.

Don't tell jrg
Dodgers scored 3 in top of first. With Greinke on mound against Philly i figured it was over already. NOT. First 5 guys for Phillies all score. 5-3 in first. LOL

And now its 6-5 Dodgers in the 2nd. Gonzo with 3 run shot.

I hope so as well, but seems unlikely.

Has Heston been without his security blanket Buster previously?
Kelby dedicated his bat in which he got his first hit to the kid, a 9 year old bat boy in the minors, who died after being struck in the head with a bat on accident

Sad. Like Kelby even more now.
