The guy was loved in SF. But, he threw it all away. He couldn't keep himself in shape and turned down a huge contract over 100M to stay with his teammates shortly after he said in front of everyone that he wanted to come back.
I am glad he is gone and thankful that Boston bailed the Giants out of a HUGE (pun intended) mistake. I dont root against him like I do against Dusty Baker teams. Afterall, he was a big cog in 2 of our WS titles. But I wont root for him either.
