Matt Cain had a cyst removed from his right upper arm. He will start therapy in AZ & is expected to return to throwing in 10 days. #SFGiants

Great news on Cain. SMFH.

Top 5 worst contracts in all of baseball.

It certainly is right up there near the top. Top 5, top 10.. in either case Cain will never pitch anywhere near what his contract calls for.

Yep. We have gotten ZERO out of Matt Cain since he signed the contract. He was either to hurt to pitch or pitched horrendously.

You'd think Cain was on his death bed from some of the talk radio/twitter reactions.
so when is Tim Lincecums "showcase" that's why the giants have signed him yet right? want to see what he still has left in the tank.

He wants to start and there's no room in our rotation

Not sure if you are a basketball fan, but this situation is kind of similar to when Derrick Rose or Kyrie Irving have to leave a game for an injury. Doesnt matter if it is a big injury or a little one. With how soft and brittle those players are, it is completely natural (and logical) to assume the worst.

Well RIP Cain. I hope he had a good insurance policy.
