Reno, I have this strange feeling we would have a lot in common if we got to know each other. It is weird, I saw you like Basic 4, which is crazy because it isn't a popular cereal, but it is one of my favorites.

Maybe one day we will cross paths and have a beer. I've got a flight to catch tomorrow though so I have to go. Good night

Really odd lol
Meh

Let's keep it clean gents.

I am not going to play housekeeper in this of all threads.

Garcia isn't here, and that's it.

I like how Madison Bumgarner, at age 26, is already this grizzled veteran legend that everyone looks up to. Bum is in the age 35 phase of respect an entire decade earlier.

rememeber back in 2012 everybody thought he was done for cause he couldn't get his command right. Then 2 years later he puts together that epic postseason run.

lol I know right! You know we had something special when at 20 yrs old he threw a hell of a game in game 4 of the 2010 WS on the road against that rangers lineup

I liked all the WS runs, but 2010 was so awesome because we never saw it coming. And Rally Caps was invented in here. I mean, f**king thread was boss, season was boss, Posey was born...Oh man. Good times.
You can make a list of all the odd/cool things that happened across the 3 WS runs.

  • the ball that hit the top of the wall
  • Ishi's HR
  • MadBum coming out of the pen

2010 was a great yr, nobody saw us beating atlanta, especially heavily favored Philadelphia then Texas. I will never forget that game 1 against Halladay who in his last start no hit Cincinnati and Cody Ross comes up and hits a hr off him and totally quiets that crowd and just winning that game in general. There I knew we had a chance to have a magical run. That 2010 run was the happiest I've been since I can remember and to me the best of our titles because of how big under dogs we were from the divisional round to the end. On top of that winning the division on the last day against San Diego who we had to fight all of the final months of the season to catch them and have a chance.

Renteria coming out of coma after that bad contract we ripped sabean for and hitting that clutch 3 run hr in game 5 and winning mvp. Same thing for Zito, sucking his whole 7 yr 126 mil contract and coming huge in that elimination game against STL in Busch stadium and getting a clutch hit then out dueling Justin Verlander in game 1. So f**king crazy and ironic how both those signings didn't do s**t for majority of their contracts but played huge roles when it mattered the most towards the end of them.

After that game 4 in 2010 I knew then, he would surpass Cain and Lincecum as the Ace of the staff. He just looks so damn cool and collected out there, nothing seems to phase him.
Callis also answering questions on Twitter right now: thinks Giants may try to move Arroyo to LF next year, Andrew Suarez might be the first prospect on the list to get some time in the bigs and thinks Chris Shaw could hit 30+ HR's for us in the not-so-distant future.
