The San Francisco Giants Thread

Affeldt takes a position with the Giants...my thought is that at some point in time he will be a replacement for Krukow on the Giants broadcasts.

I get the feeling that once Krukow cant do it anymore, Kuiper will retire with him.

Heard the show is trash, but will be checking this one out.

My wife watched it the other day. It was basically an entire episode advertising the Giants, funded by the Giants. They were all wearing Giants Dugout store clothing, and filmed half of it in the stands during a Giants/Dodgers game at AT&T.

What was weird is everything must have been approved by the team and MLB, because no branding was edited out. They showed parts of the actual game. Kershaw was pitching for LA.

I watched that episode. It was funny because they showed Aoki batting at one point, and at another point I could have sworn I saw Andres Torres standing on 2nd.

Affeldt would be cool as a color commentator I think. He seems like it anyway. Its gonna be a sad day when we no longer get to hear Kruk and Kuip call Giants games. We have been pretty spoiled for a long time with them, I just cant imagine watching Giants games with some boring broadcasters who don't provide any entertainment

Now that I think about it, I remember a couple years ago when Krukow's condition came to light, I read a really long article on some ESPN site about Duane Kuiper and Mike Krukow's relationship and how Krukow's condition is affecting their work. I remember reading something about how they said if it got to the point where Kruk couldn't physically make it to the ballpark anymore, they could somehow broadcast the games from their own houses I think. I can't remember exactly what it said, but it was something along those lines. Was a really interesting article, I think someone shared it to my FB page or something

lol that was Torres. They used footage cut from different games. Torres definately wasnt on the team last year.

They were doing so well until the end when Pence hits an oppo HR to the foul pole side of RF that almost goes into the water. Nobody is that strong.

Lol yeah. When I saw Torres I laughed out loud. It's definitely a very cheesy show that I wont be watching again lol. The girls don't look too bad tho....Stephanie's tits tho
