He hits a homer then strikes out a few times, then hits a homer and strikes out a few times, and so on and so forth...
Span homered?

That shot that crawdog hit was a no doubter. That oppo shot from Pence gets me excited to see what he will do this when healthy.

Lol ahh.

yep, I wish he was here again at this point. Not that our team really needs him or anything but enough time has passed that I think he would be good here. Then again just as I was typing that I thought about how he kind of isolated himself in the locker room and pissed all kinds of people off. Just not the type of guy our team is made of these days. No need to taint it, lol, so I just changed mind mid comment. Good luck in Miami though, Barry.

offense will be very balanced this year, getting pagan out of the first two spots and to the bottom of lineup will defiantly help

hopefully everybody stays healthy

hopefully cain has a bounce back year, at least heston is decent

Couple quick Barry memories.

I was at the game on the first base side lower level, the game after Booby Bonds died. Barry hit a walkoff homer. s**t was awesome.

I was at the game Barry did that 360 out of the batters box vs LA in a playoff push. Was on the 3rd base line high upper deck for that. Candlestick tailgate before the game was hardcore that night.

Was also at, can't recall if it was the same year, I think it was though when Barry celebrated the division title on top of the dugout. (also got behind home plate tickets for free to the next game after the clinch and saw Derek Lee hit his first homerun.)

If Bonds came back it wouldn't be the same dynamic. Hed just be a retired player coach. Some of the biggest names in history became coaches, and they dont carry the star power like they used to. Mark McGwire was the biggest name in baseball in the late 90's, and super controversial, and people barely notice hes even in the dugout now as a coach.

Theres no need to make a change right now, but I hope that as soon as we need a hitting coach, Bonds is ready to come back for what would be a better job with his lifelong team.

Still have trouble believing Bonds will make it through this entire year as a hitting coach...I think he will give it up sometime during the summer. Will probably say he's injured or something and can't travel.

We'll see, but I remain highly skeptical that he sees this through.

Lol, "lifelong team"...he played 7 years in Pittsburgh and won two MVP's there. I know you probably were really young then and don't remember it, but it did happen. Obviously his MVP's with the Giants and his dad playing there as well was primary, I get it.
