solid signing. many people bagged on it, I liked it more then the cueto signing
If Cueto stays healthy hes a 2nd ace. Samardzija was definately a buy low signing though. Mike Leake almost got the same amount, but with nowhere near the upside.

Random. But I remember watching ESPNEWS and in the little bottom right corner it said "Giants sign Omar Vizquel/Armando Benitez. And I was like whaaaaat! And got up all excited and told my dad the news lol
And that reminds me of when I saw my dad in the garage and said "dad. Guess where Jeff Kent signed."
He said ... "Yankees. ."
I said. "No. Worst."
And he said "You've gotta be kidding me! The Dodgers ?!? WOOWWW"
Idk why I shared that. But it was just a random thought lol.
Of course, this was before my dad went to the grocery store and never came back lol

What's does everyone think about the chances of Cain rebounding this year and coming into a zone?

I don't think he will ever again be what he was a few years ago...not even close. I just want him to be healthy enough to be a solid 4-5 in the rotation, expecting any more from him isn't realistic.

If he isnt hurt or one of the worst pitchers in baseball this year, it will be a pleasant surprise.

Never going to be the same. He's gonna end up like Timmy imo. Hopefully he can end up like a Vogey though.

Great outing by Peavy, now get the vets out and don't play many of them tomorrow. Time to get in regular season mode, let's go on Monday.

Then his pay should reflect because he isnt getting paid like a 4 or 5

The Giants pay for past performance in the organization. That's part of the perks and incentive.
