The Knicks were arguably the worst team in the NBA when those guys were playing there. They are solid players who are flourishing in large part due to the guy you hate on. I think it's hard to argue that

Why do we have to rank how s****y a s*** team is compared to other s*** teams? If you are a non playoff team in the Eastern Conference, your team is s***........which is what the Cavs were prior to LeBrons return.

I don't think Lebron being there automatically makes him the reason other players are playing well. Thompson is a beast and has been getting better since he came into the NBA. He played really well at the end of last season and has kept some of that momentum. JR and Shumpert are coming from an absolute garbage Knicks team and organization. I don't think it's surprising that their effort on defense has picked up since they were traded. Mozgov has played well and Lebron deserves some credit for commanding attention from defenses, but he's also benefiting from Cleveland trying to surround Lebron (and him) with shooters in JR, Shump, Irving, Delladova, and Jones. JR and Shumpert make Lebron better just as he makes them better.

You guys are also ignoring the fact that Love got worse when he joined Lebron. If he was still playing, they would probably still be in the finals, but Lebron would look way less impressive.
