I think this is the most I've been excited about an NBA Finals that my Lakers weren't playing in, in a long long time. The dynamics are so compelling. The amazing team in the warriors, that play up tempo and off the jump shot maintaining consistency this long in their playoff run. James being the amazing player he is and carrying this team so far. 2 rookie head coaches leading their teams against each other in the Finals (First time that's ever happened since the 1st year of the league lol). Both teams have interesting supporting casts. Both cities are starved for a championship. Cleveland obviously is more starved as a city as a whole, but Oakland hasn't seen nba success in 40 years, and 26 years since their city won anything. It's really pretty awesome.
I really want to see the warriors pull it off, simply because of all the people in my day to day life that would be so happy to see their team win. As a Lakers fan, they all hate my guts in the basketball world, but seeing them suffer for so long sucks. They deserve this title. And I know cleveland deserves anything they can get too, but these warriors fans have been amazing through thick and thin. I've been to countless Lakers games in oakland over the years and they've always been there, cheering their asses off even though they know they're getting hammered on the court. I was always treated with general respect when I would go there wearing my Lakers gear. A little s**t talking of course, but nothing serious or physical. These fans are awesome and they deserve the ultimate prize.
So go you dudes. I hope your team wins it all for YOU GUYS. Because you deserve it.

God this is going to be great. My heart keeps telling me Cavs but my mind is saying Dubs. I'm cheering for the Dubs, I just think BronBron does what all best of their era players do...the impossible.

i wish this series would go 7, but i'm picking a repeat of last year's finals score, 4-1 GSW. but, they do have lebron, i doubt he has two s**tty finals back-to-back.

not to sound like a hater here, but according to GSW fans, Green should've won the DPOY, because he can guard all 5 positions. is the exception lebron james? why isn't supposedly the best defensive player in the nba guarding the 4th scoring option (thompson)

I was forced to listen to the beginning of the game on the radio.
Does Tim Roye always sound like he's trying to win a "Im a stereotypical deejay" contest. GD he is awful to listen to.

That's not why he should have won. He should have won because he is a defensive beast. The Fact that he can guard all 5 positions is a damn good bonus.

Trying to stop Thompson from getting offensive boards is still a helluva challenge.
