OFFICIAL: 2015 & 2016 NBA Finals Thread - Cleveland Cavaliers vs Golden State Warriors

Warriors having Seahawk type luck in the playoffs. The starting PG of every team they've faced has been injured either some or all of each series. They probably still would've beat them all even with those point guards healthy but you still have to admit that's some pretty good luck and Kevin Love is a huge loss for Cavs as well.

Damn I was hoping for the shut out in overtime

It was pretty much a shut out. Cavs needed to win it in regulation.

I'm more upset about Kyrie's injury. That kills the series.

Hope it was just a minor blip on the radar and he's back healthy* for game 2. Want to beat you guys at your best.
Congrats to all them Dubs fans for their 1st NBA Finals win in 40 years. too those whom have suffered through years of agony this one is dedicated to y'all. with that said let me be the one to say the Cavs aren't winning this series. Am not sure if Steve Kerr knowing designed the game this way or LBJ was just being a ONE MAN ARMY...but I recall a certain Rudy T in Houston going to this strategy where he allowed Shaq Fu to go off yet limited Penny, 3-D and Nick from killing the Rockets from the perimeter. Either way one man can never beat a team

Now to K.Irving...as long as you got Duke mar-key player on your team you will NEVER win a TITLE. name one team where a Duke Player was THE mar-key player and that team won a NBA title. This is directly directed at Coach K. greatest College Coach whom has horrible showing in NBA. if you name S. Battier it doesn't count cause LBJ, DWade, CBosh and Jesus Shuttleworth won the title that S Battier happen to play with. PS I believe I've got a point with this statement. How may of us recall Jay Williams(not the white chocolate)...but the dummy that fell of the motorcycle.

That's b******t. Warriors can only play the teams they get. And don't act like the Cavs also didn't play any injured teams on their way to the Finals either.

Nobody was even talking about the starting point guards in the Pelicans/memphis series.

It was all about Anthony Davis and gasol/Randolph. When the warriors went up in the series, then the narrative became "o not healthy"

JR Smith is worthless 75% of the time, that is all.

Why should Coach K give a rats ass about what players do after they leave him? He gets props IMO for being able to do what he does without the big time players at the next level.
Not the posture of a guy who thinks he's coming back any time soon.

He said the previous injury was like a hyperextention. This time felt totally different. The way he described it, it sounded like he blew a ligament.
f**k and tonight was such a fun game before he got hurt too.

Never want to see a big time player go down in the finals. Want to see both teams as healthy as they can be
Lol at everyone booing Marshawn Lynch when they showed him on the big screen
ESPN coulda came up with a better pic than this. Curry looks like he's short bus clapping. lol

K. Irving was damaged goods going in, he pushed it and broke down.
I really really hope Irving is fine. He's a great player and I don't want anything taken away from what the Warriors accomplished if they do win.
