Damn, Bayern with a thriller yesterday! Down a man and tied 1-1, Lewandowski gets the goal for the win in the death!

I watch the 2nd yesterday. That was a fun game. Hoffenheim missed a late penalty when the score was 1-1 (hit the post) and after that Bayern kicked it into another gear with down a man.
Great game.

It was a lot of fun to watch. Bayern's gonna have to ratchet it up a notch since it appears Dortmund is back to their old self

I can't keep up with this s**t, Saido didn't play yesterday supposedly because he's not right with all the transfer talk, then there's this
//
I missed a hell of a game yesterday it seems, too bad it was at 5am. 2-3 loss to Chelsea and we missed a PK. Rondon with an assist.
What's clearer every day is that Saido/Rondon would be the best combination up front for West Brom.

Berahino is all but gone. I've heard up to 15 teams after trying to get him, with Tottenham still the favorite. Sorry V.
In other semi-related topics. I'm going to quit my job and move to England and start writing soccer transfer rumors. They are so outlandish sometimes, it just shows me I could do it. According to British media, Neymar has told Man U he wants to join them. To get published all they do is:
Transfer News: {Insert star name not currently in BPL} finalizing deal with {Insert Top BPL team}.
And, Boom!, they're published.
Some funny articles I've come across just this A.M.:
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/aug/23/neymar-manchester-united-barcelona-ed-woodward

Here's a Benzema timeline of lies:
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/461001/Arsenal-Karim-Benzema-transfer-news

^Benzema even had to come out today and say it was BS cause the rumors have become so ridiculous. They're saying he's in London right now taking a medical. Yet pictures from this morning show him training in Madrid lol.
And I can't find the article now, but read Thomas Muller and Gareth Bale will both be signed by Man U before the transfer window closes.

yeah nfl/nba/mlb rumors ain't got s**t on soccer, it's annoying as f**k.
Saido needs to stay his ass at West Brom and form a killing pair with Rondon, then both can be sold for a 100 million during the winter

everything I read says Rondon had a really good game yesterday, assisted on the 1st goal, caused Terry's expulsion, and played 90 efficient minutes.

Yea transfer rumors in England are just nutty but I think this year it's been worse because LVG actually thinks he can get theses players and several clubs have now accused ManU to use the media to start rumors.
ManU has been linked with Muller, Ramos, Bale, Ronaldo, Pedro, Muller again, Neymar - and not a single one makes any sense. Bayern, Real, and Barca have had highly successful years recently and they're the top 3 clubs in the World.
Please tell me why the very best players on these teams would consider going to any other team and why would these clubs sell players they don't want to sell? Yes, he signed Di Maria last season but Real WANTED to sell Di Maria. I'm so glad Pedro went to Chelsea instead of Playing for Van Gaal - even though I can't stand Chelsea.

I think all the top clubs are struggling right now - except ManCity.
Real and Juve looked really bad over the weekend. Barca looked decen at best (first 50 minutes they were bad as well and Alves and Busquets got injured)...Bayern looked like they were taking it easy till they lost a man (though some ridiculous goal-keeping by Hoffenheim goalie...and some luck) - ManU rumors are more creative than their football (gosh they need a striker badly), what has happened to Chelsea's defense, Arsenal has looked fine but not great...
I watched more futbol than ever these last two weeks. Chelsea and ManCity games were a lot of fun along with Bayern's game.

Indeed it was, especially after all the stuff with Pique, Pedro, injuries, ManU smoking dope and then talking about landing Neymar, etc.
Among all the bad news coming out of Barcelona, I was very pleasantly surprised at how well Sergi Roberto played as a right back. More like I was stunned, really. A lot of fans already think that he will be the replacement for Alves. I would hope he is, but I'm not going to anoint him after one good game. I'll have an opinion after I see him play the position against Atletico in a few weeks.
Vermaelen played very well too. Was surprised that he started instead of Bartra but Bartra did not have a great preseason.
I am a huge fan of Messi... best player in the world bar-none IMO... however, is it time to start considering Neymar or Suarez to take penalties for Barca?

Thiago extended to 2019 for Bayern.
I'm iffy on this because Thiago hasn't really shown me he can be top form since he came back from injury. Has been mostly invisible on the field.
