This is 2 QLD teams btw for Americans.. Most of these guys play for the same team in State of Origin which is the biggest rivalry in Rugby league.. So most these guys on both teams are mates off field.. They each have a load of respect for each other and although they will play hard you wont see too much dirty stuff.. And at end of the game they will all shake hands and embrace..

Which is how it oughtta be no matter the teams. Gus said it when these teams played the other week, the play a more genuine brand of footy than any other club.

These guys really need to pitch the ball more. There are guys wide open and ready to run with it.

True if you're talking about the Cowboys team. They need to throw it around more. You're catching on Stoney.

All of them. The forwards just want to bash into each other and their dudes are open all the time on the outside.

Is That guy a p***y for wearing the helmet?

He's just worried about his head cracking open like an egg. Cos he's so good oppo players target him. Couple of coat hangers would take him out of the game.

So people don't look down on him for wearing it? How come more guys don't wear them?

Yeah there was a bit of angry aimed at those hat wearing blokes years ago. Wasn't uncommon for tacklers to rip them off the players head and then hoick it down field. That's a penalty now. No one would be looking down on JT. He's recognised as a master of the game.
What about the speed of this game...

The rules have changed a lot over the years to protect them. It's so hard to find decent qbs and they were dropping like flies for a while there. They are just sitting ducks back there while Enormous monsters that run like the wind are trying to kill them. Mostly everybody doesn't like the rules that protect them so much, but the league is run by politically correct pansies that want the star qbs to be able to be out there playing. lol
Sometimes the love for qbs by analysts is almost sickeningly homo erotic, not that I have a problem with gays, but old married men having crushes on corn fed pretty young white boys is just unnerving. Skip bayless one of the worst offenders.

Nah, 95% of the time there's guys marking those guys that seem open, just like in the NFL.

The forwards will control the ball in their own half, grinding forward from the try line and protecting the ball. Passing the ball around in your own half can be dangerous. You'll see the small, faster players get more ball in the opponents' half.

Dude, don't watch that a*****e. That ESPN show on the morning with him and Stephen a smith is a joke. They love the sound of their own voices and just say crazy s**t to get people talking about what hey said. lol

I see the space. The room is there. They need to get some misdirection working and fool the defense with some back cuts by the fullbacks.
Stoney.. Games on mate.. last 20 this is gonna get real.. up until now you have seen 2 teams play it safe now its do or die... 20 minutes left to call your self a champ!
