I am not sure the board could do anything else since the Titans major sponsor (Trip-a-deal) partially paid for Heinz. JH was guaranteed $1.2M and Henry only $300k.
But sacking the coach 2 weeks from the end of the season is low. Henry is a decent bloke and did not deserve this bs.
Who would want to be a coach!

The NRL players association also threatening boycotting the world cup. Lol the world cup has nothing to do with the NRL!

According to the players, the first training session went off smoothly, having been put through their paces with a number of new drills to help them adapt to Hayne's style of play.
These include: throwing ill-timed and wildly unrealistic passes, running sideways for as long as possible and mandatory 'Hayne Plane' celebrations for all tries.

And Kent has come out and denied point blank Henry was the source. At the same time delivers a nasty but well deserved jab to Haunes, the problem child and coach eater. I bet one of Haynes big grippes for leaving the 49ers was when Chip came on board and expected him and his team mates to lift their physical training efforts. Hayne didn't like that and bailed. That is the scoop let me tell you

Too true. Scenario is Hayne cries to board cause his coach called him a bad name through media. Media says coach wanted him to not call Hines a bad name. Board believes Hayne over coach but truth is money and sponsor win and truth is out the window and team in disarray.

Personally, I believe Hayne knocking up that bird he met on instagram was a big, if not the only, factor in his decision to leave the US. The timeline seems to fit. If that had not happened I think he would've at least tried to make Chip's team. But, with all his talk of faith and being led by God shot to bits, rather than face the humiliation and loss of face before his Niner team mates, he fled. The Rugby Sevens was a convenient pretext and diversion to facilitate his flight back to Australia.
